The two-piece aluminum pole measures 1.5 inches in diameter and features a powder-coated finish, which is available in two color options.
This umbrella has break-resistant fiberglass ribs that allow the shade to flex in stronger wind conditions. It has been tested in winds over 50 mph. Fiberglass ribs are four times stronger and up to 30 percent lighter than traditional wood or metal ribs.
