We are very happy with this set--got it with 10 chairs which all fit around the table, a little tight, but great for family gatherings. A few plusses not mentioned elsewhere...chairs come assembled, and are folding for easy storage...table top is fully assembled, only need to add legs and cross bars.

We had none of the problems mentioned in other posts...assembly went without a hitch...butterfly leaf works fine...pulling the chairs to the table by the seat resolves the adjustment problem (that person doesn't seem to realize that the problem they had is a result of having the adjustable back...this was not an issue for us, and the adjustable back adds to the comfort level of the chair).

Not the highest end product, and some variety in the coloring of the woods, but all in all, an excellent value for what you get...perfect for our needs.

The chairs are heavy to pull away from the table and the folding position comes apart when pulled so you have to re-adjust it every time. Once in the chair it is comfy, but don't try to shift or the position of the chair will need re-adjusting again. The people sitting on the side will have to stradle the table legs between their knees. Not too nice. Notice the picture has the chairs pulled out. Pretty to look at from a distance when new, but not too happy with the function and practicality for these reasons.

          The design, construction second to none. Was surprised to see that the table slats are screwed on vs staples or nails. Just one of the finest if not the finest pieces of any type of furniture i own. This is the Stickley of patio furniture. Great Job!

          Love design and comfort. But no real finish to endure outdoor use. Had to apply about a gallon of exterior wood protector otherwise everything would have cracked in no time at all. Essential to buy a cover for the table.
