    The umbrella is well worth the money. The only thing I am not pleased with is that the base needs screw ridges to enable you to turn it into the sand or grass if you are at the park. The base is smooth and requires you to carry a mallet to pound it into the ground : - (

      I really don't know what the manufacturer of this umbrella was thinking. It had a great design, a wonderful 2 piece pole system, a fabulous fabric, and a terrible structure system. this is my 2nd one I bought thinking maybe the first one was a fluke, but no they were both the same. the rivets that connect the metal bars that give the umbrella it's suport and shape are sooooooooo cheap that they come undone in one or two uses. I had to replace them with little (expensive) nuts and bolts but by the time I had done that it was too late, the bars were all bent up. It's a shame because this makes this umbrella useless.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        Beach days, Avalla beach gets too 100 with no clouds in the sky beautiful but hot so the umbrella is perfect, easy to carry and set up.
