About the FiberBuilt 50-lb. Heavy Duty Concrete Base


This attractive, heavy base secures your patio umbrella during use. Concrete is used to create the sturdy base, and its low-rise dome creates more leg room under a table. The iron neck fits both 1.5-inch- and 1.75-inch-diameter poles. Turn the round knob to tighten the pole into place. Heavy-duty black plastic trim and iron neck add a stylish touch.

Care

Caring for Sunbrella fabric is easy. Simply follow these steps for season after season of bright, durable fabric:

  • Brush off any loose dirt
  • Prepare a cleaning solution of 2 ounces (1/4 cup) mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water (less than 100°F/38°C)
  • Use a sponge or a soft bristle brush to clean
  • Allow cleaning solution to soak into fabric
  • Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
  • Allow fabric to air dry

    The umbrella stand was exactly what I was looking for to use during fall and winter for our patio set. We recieve a lot of rain as opposed to snow, and we like to use an umbrella to protect us from the rain and continue to sit out on our patio. Occasionally, we have high winds, so this stand will not allow our table and umbrella to blow over in the wind.

    Heavy Duty Base But Plastic Screw/tab

    Is heavy enough, Looks good, but was very disappointed that the tab and screw to hold umbrella in stand are PLASTIC. Now how long will that hold up? Should be stainless steel.
