An eight-ribbed frame is secured to the post with durable resin hubs to support the 9-foot octagonal canopy. A single wind vent located at the top of the umbrella is designed to facilitate airflow and prevent inversion in high winds. The umbrella conveniently opens by way of a double-pulley lift system. A brass-plated pin secures the canopy when the umbrella is open.
